It's time to get serious about your festive season playlists, people.
There's only a few days left until we holler "hello December!" And, besides all the lazing about that some of us are about to enjoy, one thing you absolutely cannot get wrong about this and every other festive season is your music.
Now we know how much South Africans love to party and dance. It would be a sin for our musicians not to provide us with hit songs to enjoy over the holidays. So, without further ado, here are some local dance albums we think you should definitely get your hands on for your December vibes.
Busiswa - Summer Life
Instagram/@busiswaah In early November this year,
Busiswa blessed us with this great body of work with hits like
Weh DJ,
Shikisha, iSdudla and many other tracks that are sure to have you on the dance floor every time you play this album.
Black Motion - Moya Wa Taola Instagram/@realblackmotion
When this duo releases an album, you must know it's about to get seriously lit! If you haven't gotten your hands on this one then seriously, what is wrong with you? Songs like Richi Richi, Joy Joy, Tana I Rise and Little Blue Girl will definitely get the party started.
Dladla Mshunqisi - uMshunqo

Do we need to explain why this album is a must-have? We think his many features over the past year have proven him worthy of being one of the top December shakers this year. Amalukuluk, featuring Professor, is just some of the few songs that will have you doing the vosho several times at one go. Whether you have medical aid or not, it doesn't matter! We're celebrating and closing December with this one.
Heavy K - Respect The Drumboss 2018
Instagram/@HeavyKDrumboss He's made yet another project that will definitely have music lovers respecting his sound for years to come.
The drum boss dropped this audio piece of art in October and favourites like
Ndibambe,
Dlala Ngam, &
Forever stay on repeat in many peoples cars, phones and homes.
Distruction Boyz - It Was All A Dream Instagram/@DistructionBoyz
They've finally released their video for Amaxoki, and with their second offering steadily burning up the dance floors, it really wouldn't be a real December without a Distruction Boyz album on your playlist.
