Tyler, the Creator layed a verse over Jacquees’ “No Validation” and called it “Gelato”

27 June 2018
By now it's more an expectation than a surprise that Tyler, the Creator will come out with a new verse or two over the instrumentals of an existing track. His latest remix is of Jacquees' "No Validation," taken off the Atlanta R&B singer's 4275 album released just twelve days ago.

Tyler picks up where Jacquees left off for his remix. Where "No Validation" offers the confidence a potential would need, "Gelato" makes the message clearer with firmer and stronger language. Nothing says it quite like, "Negative niggas gon' say this don't add up, but fuck they math up."

Tyler's motivation for recording the remix? "Yo so um here i like this song so i added a verse shout out to @Jacquees." Good news is Jacquees is all good with it: "S/o @tylerthecreator."
Take a listen to both tracks below starting with Tyler, the Creator's "Gelato."
