This was certainly an interesting summer for Chris Brown and Drake, who got into a bar fight inside New York City’s W.i.P. club back in June. Well now, according to Entertainment Weekly, the club’s owners, Entertainment Enterprises, are suing the duo for 16-million dollars, claiming the stars’ entourages “fashioned deadly weapons out of whatever materials they could find,” which included using broken beer bottles as makeshift knives. The lawsuit goes on to state that patrons had to hide under tables or use them as shields in order to defend themselves from the violent brawl, and several were severely injured. The company is also seeking damages for “gross negligence,” “ultra-hazardous activity” and “intentional illegal acts,” as well as for the negative publicity that caused the club’s eventual shutdown.
