Drake and Rihanna lead the pack with five nominations each at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Drizzy is nominated for the coveted Video of the Year for his clip for “Take Care,” which features Rihanna. The MC is also up for Best Male Video, Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography. He is also up for “HYFR,” which features his Young Money boss, Lil Wayne, who Drake calls a rare breed. Also nominated for Best Hip Hop Video is his Young Money label mate Nick Minaj. The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards will be hosted by Kevin Hart and boasts performances from Alicia Keys, One Direction, 2 Chainz, P!nk, Taylor Swift and Green Day.
