Jay-Z owns about one-fifteenth of a percent of the Brooklyn Nets, yet the rapper has been calling all the shots surrounding the team and their arena. According to Deadspin.com, the rapper helped design the team logos, chose the team’s black and white color scheme, advised arena executives on what kind of music they should play during games, and even counseled them on the best approach to screen attendees for weapons. Jay has also incorporated products in which he holds a financial interest, such as Armand de Brignac champagne for suite owners. His 40/40 nightclub chain will hold a residence in the arena as well as a Rocawear store that sells his clothing line.
