Kendrick disses Drake again

3 October 2013
Kendrick Lamar’s verse on “Control” will forever be one of the most controversial raps in modern day hip hop. His blatant shots at the likes of Meek Mill, Pusha T, Drake sparked a series of diss tracks and spoken responses but one beef stands out more than the others and that’s the beef between him and Drake.

During the taping of the 2013 BET Awards, word broke that Kendrick had taken another shot at Drake and now there’s video proof. In the BET Cypher Kendrick raps, “And nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’/and tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes.”

‘Nothing Was the Same’ is of course the title of Drake’s third studio album. Drake however hasn’t been totally silent on the matter and some believe his line on “The Language” where he raps, “I don't know who you're referring to, who is this n*gga you heard about?/Someone just talking that bullsh*t, man someone just gave you the run-around,” is directed at Kendrick.
