The London Olympic Games started on Friday, and while avid sports fans around the globe watch their favorite athletes compete for their nations’ honor and glory, entertainment junkies will have their own version of the Olympics to follow, in the form of MTV’s Summer Jam Games. The debut Summer Jam Games kicks off today (7/30), and artists from around the globe will battle head-to-head to determine the best song of summer 2012. Artists will compete in five categories: hip-hop, R&B, pop, EDM and rock, and the fans will be voting for their favorites.
