naija born rapper features in film with mark ronson

DAP is more than just a rapper; he’s a composer, Brown University graduate and a music maestro who has now attracted the likes of Mark Ronson to collaborate with him. This son of Nigerian finance expert, Nimi Akinkugbe, has been featured on the Converse Rubber Tracks crew who are travelling the world in a bid to profile some of the most talented young musicians. In this series, they travel to world famous venues and studies to watch these youngsters weave their musical magic.
On his episode, DAP was featured working at the Abbey Road Studios – a studio previously house by legendary band, The Beatles. In the episode he was laying beats with none other Mark Ronson, the hit maker who has worked with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Jay Z and Lily Allen.
