Life is good for New York hip-hop legend Nas, and that’s not just a reference to his new album, Life is Good. Released yesterday, the Queens Native’s tenth studio album has been heralded with positive reviews, especially for one of its stand out tracks, “Daughters,” where the stone cold emcee shows a lighter side of himself by talking about his daughter. Even though the track is good on its own, in an interview with Vibe magazine, Nas explains how he reached out to two fellow hip-hop giants who also love their daughters, to hop on the remix for the track. The rapper says how he wanted both Jay-Z and Eminem to join him on the track, however, Em expressed that he had talked about his daughter too much at this point of his career, and Jay unfortunately could not find time in his hectic schedule. Life is Good is out now.
