The emBARssy bar and lounge is co-owned by Basketmouth, Jide Salako and Kayode Peters and was opened in the first weekend of July. The opening event was attended by plenty of Nigerian entertainers, including Mo’Cheddah, Davido, Overdose, Buchi, Djinee, Bovi and Modenine.
It’s open to the general public from noon until midnight and has been described as a sophisticated, relaxing space where guests can come unwind after the everyday hustle of the workplace.
Apart from music from their in-house DJs, the establishment has also come up with other fun and exciting ways to entertain guests, such as comedy night activities including Friday Nite Laffs, One Night Stand, as well as their monthly comedy and music show, Laffs 'n' Jamz. The lounge will also host ladies night, Saturday nightfever and open mic nights.
