The Justin Bieber transition

8 December 2015
Those who have heard the new Justin Bieber album and can agree that there’s a new matured and manly sound coming from the 21 year-old singer.
We remember when Justin Bieber came into the music scene with his “Baby” single featuring Ludacris and carried by Usher. Much like others all around I loved this song but didn’t like the artist behind it much.
The video was released in an era of popular dance-jerking, a lot of pop culture was infused into the video so it was only right to fall in love with the video but moving on; Justin Bieber like every teenager out there would have done was so engrossed in this popularity scheme. Apart from the music, whenever we heard JB’s name in the news, it was always for the wrong reasons (to be honest, if I had his success as well I would have probably done worse – but whatever). At some point we heard there were plans to deport the singer back to his country, He was once arrested and charged with dangerous driving and assault and a whole lot of controversies surrounded the pop singer at that time.
Earlier this year, Justin Bieber was welcomed to be roasted on a Comedy Central Roast “The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber” making him the youngest person to have ever been roasted at the show. To been roasted is actually not a bad thing because these events are intended to honour a specific individual who has had a comment worthy career in a unique way; a criteria that definitely fits the Biebs. A lot was said and at the end of it all he apologized for all his wrong doings with hopes of being a better man.
They say music speaks; the kind of music you make says a lot about the person you are or the person you plan on being. The music Justin Bieber has been making ever since he came back from his 3 year hiatus has been awesome and welcomed by all. (Well I can’t speak for all but MYSELF and well, people around me). I personally have noticed there is more matured content in what he is saying, his videos are more matured and this new album is amazing.
Many believed Bieber wouldn’t last long in this industry due to the mishaps surrounding him previously and a while back he had a minor issue with his voice. I think he just cleared that by revamping his style of music. Justin Bieber is now making music that a broad variety of people can listen to and find interesting.
I know it’s too early to compare this Justin Bieber to the two years ago young lad but his new image suggests he is more matured now and the controversy days are things for the past and a brighter future awaits the 21 year old singer.
