Tinashe is the latest artist to join Pepsi’s The Sound Drop platform. The partnership with iHeartMedia, Shazam and Viacom aims to supporting up-and-coming artists by equipping them with the tools to help them get the shine they deserve.
Tinashe is currently in the final stages of her recording process for her upcoming Joyride album due later this year. She has promised fans will get “a bit of new material that’s very high-energy with feel-good vibes” as part of her Sound Drop campaign, which launched yesterday (16 March) and with it came a new single, Flame.
“I’m excited for people to see and hear the music that’s part of this campaign," Tinashe told Billboard. "I love having the opportunity to show more about my story and let people into my creative process. I’ll also be doing some things with a couple of other artists; they’re going to be able to put their spin on some of my songs.”
