Wizkid has promised us a very busy year after declaring that he could be dropping as many as four albums in 2017. He’s off to a good start from the looks of things: we have heard songs with Drake and Vybez Kartel and if you believe the rumours, there will be many more collaboraitons to come.
A lot of Wizkid’s projects are also going to get big backing from his label, Sony Music. According to reports, Sony is making Starboy their “top priority” in 2017 and making sure he lives up to the world class status that he is definitely destined to achieve.
RCA Records executives confirmed their priority artists for this year:
"New RCA priorities in 2017 include 18-year-old Texan Khalid, All My Friends singer Tinashe, Nigerian One Dance collaborator Wizkid, hip-hop artist Goldlink and band Muna – while we can also expect new records from Bryson Tiller, Pink! and perhaps from Miley Cyrus, who’s started work on her RCA follow-up to Bangerz."
Fam… they need just get all of these singers to collaborate. Can you imagine Tinashe, Bryson Tiller, Miley and Wizkid on the same track?
