Rayban is Flamboyant and stylish, with a wardrobe that is always on point. He is a good friend, fun to be with and has a razor sharp tongue. Rayban is gay but keeps a low profile in public because of homophobia in Kenya, however when alone with friends that he is comfortable around he relaxes and opens up a little. Rayban is Violet and Dala's best friend.
Meet the Actor who plays Rayban
Edward Nyanaro is a 25 year old Kenyan actor who has a Diploma in Marketing Management. He developed the passion of acting at my early age in primary school and progressed throughout university to become the Chairperson of Drama and Music club where his performances were seen nationally. After graduating from university, Edward continued with his passion for singing and acting and starred in commercial adverts for both government and corporate agencies – including the likes of Safaricom. In 2009 he joined Kayamba Fiesta where he now performs as a live band member and had previously performed with Guadalupe singing group in 2006. Currently Edward is working with The Radio Africa Group, (The Star Newspaper) as an Advertising Sales Executive. Edward is a highly motivated guy who believes in nothing less than achieving the best and believes in hard work, integrity and excellence.
